Watching the drama show

 I went to watch the Arohanui drama show to support my friends. 

MasterChef

 I had fun being a MasterChef for the morning. We had lots of different fruit that we had to make into a design or picture. I made a rainbow and a bug. The best part was getting to eat it! 

Lemon Muffins

 Yum yum! I made lemon muffins with the cooking group this week and then ate some ....... my favourite part of cooking.

Anzac biscuits

 This week I made yummy Anzac biscuits they were easy to make and yum 

Talent quest

 I enjoyed watching all the different performances in the talent quest. I even got up and sung with my group. It was a fun morning. 

Glow in the dark mini golf

 I had a laugh playing some glow in the dark mini golf at the centre. I even got a hole in one! It was ka pai. 

Pancake flipping

I watched a funny video of people flipping pancakes and dropping them on the fooor so we made our own pancakes out dough and had a pancake flipping competition. Ha ha! 

Yummy fish & chip picnic

 I went and enjoyed the morning in the sun at the rose gardens before picking up some fish and chips for a picnic lunch, down at memorial park. They were tasty. 

Op shop outing

 I went out to the grace op shop and helped choose some new cds and dvds for music and media. It was good to get out and about.

Sonic Cinema

 I went along to the sonic cinema to watch Viva Las Vegas! It was the first Elvis movie I have seen. 

Disco Day

 I put on a bow tie to celebrate our Wilrose Rock and Roll disco day. I enjoyed watching people dance and liked the disco lights and music. The hot lunch was yum! Pumpkin soup and fried bread. 

Historic village

 It was a lovely da6 to go out today. Went to the historic village and had a lovely walk around there’s a lot of awesome shops and galleries down there

Fab fun friday!

 I enjoyed chilling out in the sensory room under the cool light decorations and watching and listening to the Eagles play their reunion tour. What a way to spend a Friday afternoon! 

Cat walk fashion show

 I walked down the catwalk to some Hawaiian music in my beautiful floral headpiece. New Zealand’s next top model aye?

Citz Club - Connect 20

 I enjoyed a drink at the Citz Club with some friends. I met some new people and enjoyed watching / listening to what was going on. 

Friday Family Visit

 On Friday I got an awesome surprise visit from my sister and my niece. We had a coffee together and hung out talking. Then I got up and sung a Dennis marsh song with them. It was a great way to spend a Friday afternoon!

Grease fever

 I enjoyed going for a trip to the Te Puke centre to watch a show they put on for us called grease fever. It was a good outing. 

Cooking meatballs

 I made some yum meatballs in the kitchen with fresh spinach and got to eat them after they were cooked. 

Back to the 60s

 I read a book all about the 60s and listened to and sang along to some 60s music today. 

Sensory media

I loved chilling out in this cozy bean bag watching J-Lo in concert. I like her music and her outfits!  

Operatunity

 I went and watched the Tennessee Waltz Operatunity concert show. There was some good music I got to have a boogie to and some parts of the show were really funny. 

Out and about

 I enjoyed getting out and checking what they had at the art gallery. Then I went over to the library and we read a Maui story. It was a good morning out and about.
