During our waiata session today, Prince Tui Teka’s famous Pōkarekare ana song came on and I felt confident enough to grab the mic and sing along. It was awesome!
I enjoyed being up front and centre to watch everyone practice foe the up and coming talentbquest for 2024. It's looking good so far but practice makes perfect!
I was lucky enough to be invited to my friend Crimson's Wilrose cafe morning. Crimson made me a yummy hot chocolate from a coffee machine and some fresh Piklets.
It was so nice when everyone surprised me and sung me happy birthday. They had made me a special card and brought it to me at lunch time with a yummy self saucing sponge. Happy birthday to me!
I've been listening and watching to all the different songs that are being practiced for our up coming talent quest. I've enjoyed singing along to the songs I know.

To celebrate Valentine’s Day we did some fun arts and crafts. I liked this heart we weaved coloured paper through.
I enjoyed a drive over to Mount Maunganui beach. When we arrived it started spitting so we opened up the van door and breathed in the sea air while listening to the seagulls.
