Up date for Wellington

I feel really excited and proud to let people know that I am in the te puke times this week with my whanau which has the story of our achievement in Wellington. If you manage to get hold of a newspaper I am the one front row far left.

Wellinton

I am back from Wellington and I had a great time. We went to Te papa and then to the beehive. We stayed on a marae. We practiced some waiata, caught up with whanau and shared Kai.

The meeting was interesting and informative.

I would like to go back sometime.

By the way; Wellington stood up to its name! Windy Wellington!!

Windy wells awaits!!!

Yesterday I took the bus at 4am to go to Wellington to make a special delivery to the beehive . I will explain all when I get back on friday. 

Word search

Gabriel and I were working on a word search today finding words all about the weather. At times Laurene was helping out as well. Thanks goodness we look outside and the sun is shining today.

Cooking

The best part of cooking is eating of course. However we must all remember that there are always dishes. Today is my turn to dry and put them in the cupboards.

Maori culture outing to Makatu

We took a great trip to Makatu on Tuesday for Moari culture. We were following the book T for Tauranga and visiting the look out at the top of town point road to see the islands. Then we went to the information centre in Makatu and stopped in at the giant kiwi fruit for more photos and fun before setting off for the Te puke studio.

Winter is coming

The mornings are getting colder now however I get a good workout when I arrive at my job at KFC pushing that broom around the carpark. I am always proud of the result though.
