Good times in July

 Kia ora whanau.

I went to see the older folk at Fraser Manor rest home. It keeps me young chatting with them. Lunch was tasty at Connect 20, I always look forward to the kai there…. Of course my favourite has got to be the creamy mushrooms! I also enjoyed heading out to Quirks cafe to farewell a staff member. I had a sweet treat and enjoyed socialising and people watching.

Back here at the centre I have chilled out to the sounds of Prince Tui Teka and different waiata, helped count some kowhai seeds, crafted a bag and watched a David Attenborough life on earth doco. It was a laugh having some fun with glow sticks in the dark sensory room too.

I enjoyed the laughter and watching the dancing at our disco too. I was dancing in my seat, then we had a nice feed of pulled beef, roast chicken, potatoes, mixed vegetables, fried bread and a nice cold juice.

Ka kite anō! Mā te wā!
